When our daughter was born

Our first child was a girl, which my husband wasn't too pleased about. He wanted a boy. And of course, it was my fault. Our daughter was beautiful. But he paid little attention to her. He didn't even care what we named her. He just drove us home from the hospital, dropped us off, and went out drinking.
