The birth of my daughter

I was so happy to be having a child of my own. She was a beautiful, healthy eight pounder with blue eyes and a fuzzy little patch of light brown hair on her head-just enough to put a bow in. My parents were delighted, and so were Don and his family. I thought life was going to be good. Little did I know.
