The birth of my first child

I was out shopping when my water broke. My husband was playing golf. We didn't have cell phones back then, so I couldn't reach him. I finally hailed a cab to take me to the hospital. The cab driver was so nice, he asked me my husband's name and where he was playing golf. I told him and he immediately contacted his dispatcher and asked her to telephone the club and get a message to my husband. He arrived at the hospital five minutes before our son was born.
