When my little Ella was born, I had gotten over the shock of being a daddy at only 19. It wasn't so bad, now that I was looking into her little blue eyes. She was born 3 weeks early, and I had been so afraid. They said that meant she was a little premature and that scared me.

But when her little 5 lb body came out, and she looked up at me and smiled, I knew everything would be ok. The nurse was afraid to try and wrestle little Ella from my arms, so she let me bath her, feed her, and put her on the scale.
