The Kickboxing Baby

It became real, my wife's pregnancy, when I felt our baby kick for the first time. We were sitting watching television, when all of a sudden, my wife made a noise and put her hand on her stomach. I was worried at first, and went to her to see if she was okay. But she just told me the baby was kicking and made me feel. It was extraordinary feeling it kick the stomach, feeling the little life that was in there that was growing even as we were sitting there. And that soon it would come into the world and we would have one more addition to our family.
