Baby Face

I never thought that I'd see this moment. Never dreamed that I'd live to be a mother, I just didn't think it was in the cards for me. I had overcome so much and as I sat there rocking back and forth, I couldn't stop staring down at her tiny little face, those big blue eyes staring back up at me. This felt right, felt so comfortable as she lay her tiny little head against my chest. I never thought that I'd feel the beat of another person's heart, knowing that I had created that life. I felt so overcome with emotion in that moment as I looked down at this tiny little miracle, this little life that I had created.
