Baby Doll

I was old enough to understand and look forward to something. My birthday was almost here and I wanted a baby doll so badly I could taste it. I knew exactly which one I wanted, her face was like an angel and she had long pretty eyelashes. Then the day came and I was so excited to open my presents. My mom gave me one when I first woke up and I tore through the wrapping paper in anticipating. There she was staring back at me-she was beautiful! My dad got her out of the packaging and handed her to me, and I held her tight. I was going to take such good care of her, and she was going to be my best friend.
