Super Man

He came into the living room wearing a tight blue leotard, read brief underwear, and a big red sheet as a cape. That memory has a permanent place in my mind, as my son was so cute when he was 3. Not even the pirate phase was a cute as the superman phase.

He made 3 quick swoops around the couch before climbing onto the back and dive bombing onto my lap. I felt winded as I caught all of his 42 lbs. We spent the rest of the afternoon playing superhero, and even as an adult, I had some of the best fun I'll ever have.
