1 room. That's all it had. Thank god the bathroom was in a small closet of its own, that's the only thing that made it doable. I had already turned down plenty of studio apartments with a toilet in the middle of the room, and I was glad when this wasn't another one. This small stingy apartment was thankfully close to my work, and that gave it a little more appeal than the other studio's I had looked at.
I amused myself once I got the futon in there. Should I put it under the tiny window? Or across from it? The futon was going to be my couch and my bed. This made my situation a little more amusing. This was my first apartment, and I hadn't expected it to be anything other than cheap and rat free.
