Cancer diagnosis

I had just finished my freshmen year, and was looking forward to a summer of fun and sun. I woke up happy at 10:00 a.m. and showered hurriedly, looking forward to a day reading and tanning. I wrapped my hair in a towel and began to dry off, trying to remember where I'd left my suit. As I dried my back, I felt it. It was a bump under my should blade. It was round and as big as a golf ball and I wondered how I had not noticed it before. I had no idea how quickly that bump would change my life.
