A real trip

My friends Marianne and Dana were pretty crazy, and had been doing drugs since high school. When we went to the Oregon State Fair, they finally convinced me to drop acid with them. We were camping out there, and in the middle of the night I started having a conversation with the moon, which told me to take all my clothes off and run into the woods. There I was joined by all kinds of dancing shadows. I stopped when I felt the ground breathing underneath me, and that's when I realized all things around me are alive in some way, and I was part of the vast universe. When the drugs wore off, the lesson continued to stay with me.
