When I was younger, the information about drugs and their dangers were not as widely known as they should have been. There were kids everywhere who were usually trying something. I really accredit a lot of the reason I tried speed, to the fact that I new nothing about it.

The kids that had offered it to me, told me that it would take me to a new place. They were right. As I took in the sweet milky smoke, I could already feel the numbing effects it had on my throat, and in moments I felt like I could really think. I busted out more than a weeks worth of homework, because I promised my mom I would stay in school, and then went out and jogged around a near by lake. I felt like a super human, and that was a feeling I'll never forget.
