Max had just come in for his first day of work, and from the flamboyant attitude, I could tell there was something special about him. After being stationed near him for most of that day, I had finally decided that he must've been gay. I even asked him, just to make sure, and he confirmed.
I hadn't really thought anything of it, as he seemed like an okay guy, but it became apparent that not everyone else agreed with me. When George came up to turn in a report to me, he looked at Max with such a repulsive face, that I thought he might pop a vein. Max even said a cheerful hello to him, but George just ignored him, dropped the file on my desk and then left. It was really rude, and I could tell that George had some homophobic issues.
