College Applications

I applied to 5 colleges. Most of them were far away from my home town. I remember the day I got them, I was so determined that I filled them all out with an hour and got up to take them to the post office immediately.

The short drive to the post office seemed longer than usual, as I seemed to hit all 4 stop lights on the way. Once I pulled up and made my way inside, I made sure to mark the envelopes with lots of "Handle with Care" and "Fragile" stamps. I had to make sure they made it to the colleges. I even paid for insurance on each one.
