Being a cheerleader

I loved being a cheerleader. But I wasn't stuck up about it. I remembered how kids had shunned me when I was little and never wanted to do that to anyone else. So I also had friends who were geeks. At one football game, my tights split in the rear end. When one of my geek friends saw it, she took me into the Home Ec classroom and sewed up my tights for me. She didn't want me to be embarrassed.
