Wire Hangers

My mom never really hit us. She was pretty good about that, except for this one time. She was doing crafts in the kitchen and I had had too much sugar and was annoying her. I thought it was funny, but she didn't and started yelling. I didn't stop, so she, not thinking, hit me with what was in her hand. Unfortunately for both of us, it just happened to be a wire hanger and it hurt like a bitch. I started sobbing, and she didn't know she hit me so hard, so she thought I was faking. But when she realized that I wasn't, she started crying, too, and hasn't hit me since.
