I didn't know what to expect when I decided to finally adopt a child. I didn't want to go the scientific route to get a child, not really because of religious reasons, but because I was kind of nervous about that. And because there are a lot of children in the world that need homes as well. After all the paper work and the interviews and the hassle, there were times when I didn't know if it was worth it but then, when I held Justin in my arms for the first time, it was perfect. And hey, as I would always brag to my friends who were lucky enough to have children the natural way, I didn't have to go through labor.
