Wedding Day Jitters

Paul was perfect. He had money, he was kind, and he loved children. So why was I standing in front of the mirror in my simple A-line ivory dress thinking about jumping out the window? I pictured my mom and dad in the front row smiling proudly with tears in their eyes. My best friends were lined up in their pastel gowns waiting anxiously, and I knew he'd be astonishingly handsome in his tux, so I took a deep breath, grabbed the bouquet, and headed out the door to face my future.
