Trying to run away again

This time, I didn't pack anything. I just took the kids and told my husband I was taking them to the mall to buy new shoes. I made it all the way to a women's shelter. Everyone was so nice. It was the first time I'd gotten a peaceful night's sleep in a long time. I knew we wouldn't be able to stay there very long, but I didn't know what I was going to do next.
