I was born and raised in New Jersey and spent a lot of time in New York City. So I knew it very well. I don't know how many times I had taken the subway to the Twin Towers, ridden the elevator to the top, and eaten at Windows of the World. And I had flown United between Newark and Los Angeles every time I went to visit my brother or family back there. So I took it very personally. I felt like those plans had crashed into my heart.
