I was so disappointed when I found out that my daughter was pregnant. My wife had found out before me, because my daughter told her first, and so she had time to let it sink in when she told me. I didn't know what to think at first, and then I was angry, and then I felt like a failure. We must have done something wrong that would make her make such a large mistake so early in life. She was still a junior in high school, and she still had so much life ahead of her. Eventually, I calmed down and accepted it because I had to.
