The Incident

I'm not really going to go into detail here since what happened is still surprisingly raw and extremely touchy. I was at work and there was a problem with a particular fixture. I ended up injured, most of the pain was in my back but it felt as though I'd been in a car accident. I was so in shock that all I could do was think about getting home and taking a shower. I honestly didn't feel the pain til I was laying in bed in my bathrobe trying to wrap my mind around the situation. By the time I had seen the doctor the pain was only getting worse and even though he felt optimistic that I would be better soon and back to 100% functionality, I felt like this was debilitating on more than just a physical level.
