"Set a goal, and then don't let anything stop you from getting there." That was the advice my advisor gave me. I sat in his all gray office, just staring at him, contemplating what he told me. I understood the idea, but I had no idea what goal to set.
It all seemed to over whelming, and I was just 2 months from turning 18. Which meant I needed a plan very badly, as the teenage homeless shelter wouldn't be as available to me as it was before. I needed a job and place to live, and I needed them very soon. The thoughts rushed into my head to quickly and made me cry. I was so thankfully that the tawny haired advisor was there to comfort me, because I think I would have broken down if he wasn't.
