Seeing the Nutcracker

It was just before Christmas when my mother took me to see the Nutcracker on Broadway. I was enthralled-the ballerinas, the wooden soldiers, the music, the amazing production. I felt like I was living a fairy tail. I wanted to be a dancer just like that. On Christmas morning, I opened one of my presents and found a lavender leotard, lavender tights, and a lavender tutu. I was thrilled.
