Rubbing my eyes

I still couldn't believe it. I would look down at her stomach and still couldn't believe my eyes; I'd rub them sometimes in disbelief. Seeing her bulging belly made me realize that this was all real. We hadn't even been trying for that long so it surprised us when we found out the news. I lived for these moments as I looked down and saw her stomach move back and forth as I'd reach out and put my hand to her stomach to feel our little guy moving around in there. I was in awe, loving these moments as I knew soon enough he'd be here and I couldn't wait to meet him.
