Ronald

My best friend in school was Ronald. We met when I was ten. He was this fat kid with asthma who sat in the back of the classroom and didn't really talk to anybody. He didn't have many friends. Ronald met me on the playground one day when there was a big fight with a bunch of other kids and huge mob had formed on the blacktop. He asked me what was going on and I said I didn't know, and then he just sorta hung around me the rest of the day. After school we ended up riding our bikes home the same way because, as I found out, we lived only a few houses away from each other.
