Put On Your Happy Face

It was the holidays and I had told myself to just be nice. We had just walked in the door to his family's big annual Christmas party. It got even classier and more elegant each and every year, I could barely believe my eyes as I looked around at the mobs of people. My mother in law sure loved to show off the fact that she had money, but this was actually a fun one to be at, so I didn't mind. We walked in the door, hand in hand as I put on my best "happy face" and made our way into the huge crowd of people. I grabbed a glass of wine off the tray from from one of the servers walking around and smiled sweetly at everyone.
