Out in the Crowd

I looked out on the crowd, half heartedly. I knew he wouldn't be there, it was just another day and he'd have another reason as to why he couldn't be there. He hadn't been at my baseball games in a long time, I couldn't remember the last time I saw him on the stands. He used to come to every single game without fail, but lately he just wasn't around much. He didn't even seem like himself when he was around, so he wasn't the dad I remembered. I wondered what had changed, couldn't figure it out, but I sure missed him, missed him being around.
