Oh His Voice

He was the man of my dreams and I couldn't wait to marry him. He had a business trip out of town and I hated when he had to leave. Now I lit up as his sweet voice filled my ear from the other end of the phone. He was kind, gentle, funny, and sweet-truly unlike any other man I had dated or known. He told me how much he missed me and I couldn't help but grin as I looked at the clock and counted that it would be exactly 28 hours until he was home. I listened to him talk about his trip, but secretly I was just preparing to give him the biggest hug ever when he got home that next day. I had never been more in love!
