No More Work for Mama

When my mama met Troy, things changed a lot. He was only her boyfriend, but he made sure to prove to my mom that he would take care of her. I remember the day she came home so upset from work, and he told her she didn't have to work anymore.

Troy had promised to take care of her and me, and he was so sincere about it, there was no way mama wouldn't believe him. It seemed to be just wanted she wanted to her, and before I went to bed I saw them cuddling and kissing on the couch, so I knew she must be feeling better.
