My senior prom

I was going with a boy I had a big crush on. It's hard to describe how beautiful I felt in my billowy, lime-green strapless gown and silver-strapped heels. When my date arrived to pick me up, he gave me a beautiful corsage and clumsily helped me pin it on. We took the customary pictures-first at my house then at his. I was on a cloud when we walked into the lavishly decorated auditorium with my arm in his. It was a wonderful night. We danced and danced. I had a wonderful time.
