My mom's car accident

When I was ten my mom nearly died in a car crash. She had just dropped me off at school and was heading over to the 7-11 where she worked, when this truck hauling seed slammed right into her at an intersection. The truck pushed her car all the way off the road into a ditch and bent it into a C-shaped mess. Good thing it hit on the passenger's side and not the side where my mom was sitting, or else she'd be dead for sure.

The firefighters had to cut her out through the top of the car, because the doors were so messed up. We tried to sue but it turned out she was running a stop sign when she was hit so we didn't get anything out of it. Too bad, too, because that other driver was a jerk.
