It was 8 months after Rowan said she was lesbian and moved out, then moved in with her friend Denise. She had called me in a panic, to tell me that she was having my son.

I could only manage how much of a shock it would have been for her to find out she was pregnant after me. And I instantly forgave her hurried explanation as I ran to the hospital to be there for my son's birth.
