My first grandchild

When my eldest son told us his girlfriend was pregnant, we were angry that he had been so reckless but welcomed that news that we would be grandparents. My first grandchild was a beautiful little girl who called me "Dodi." She and I were inseparable. The day her parents got married, I walked down the aisle ahead of the bride carrying my darling granddaughter in my arms. I was truly blessed.
