My first girlfriend

Though most of my friends had girlfriends for as long as I knew them, I never really did anything more than kiss a girl or two until I was in high school. Then I met this girl named Karla. She was half Apache and half white, and all gorgeous. I wasn't really her type, since she was pretty smart and spent her afternoons doing volunteer work, but I guess she saw something redeemable in me. I took her out to a movie for our first date. I think it was "City Slickers," with that guy that used to be on Saturday Night Live. During the movie I leaned over and gave her a kiss on the lips and asked her if she wanted to go to a dance that was coming up. To my surprise, she said yes and we dated for several months after that.
