My first day of school

I never went to pre-school or kindergarten. So for six years, I was in the protective cocoon of my home under my mother's watchful eye. It was terrifying to be put out there on my own with some teachers I didn't know. I don't recall the specific moment when it happened, but sometime during that day, I began to enjoy it-making friends and learning.
