My favorite summer job

The summer after my freshman year in college, I got a job working at a veterinary clinic. I loved animals-especially dogs. Our clinic worked with a local animal rescue group. So we'd get the strays they picked up and fix them up medically so they could be adopted. The first time I observed a surgery, I knew that's what I wanted to do with the rest of my life.
