My Best Man

Some may have found it to be strange, but anybody who knew me understood. I had my dad standing up there next to me as my best man. He may not have been my real dad, but he was the only dad I had ever known and I wanted him to have that place of honor. It seemed to make him and my mom so ecstatically honored and I could see the look of pride on my mom's face as I looked out at her, with my dad standing next to me. He stood there as I was in awe of how beautiful my wife looked as she started walking down the aisle towards me. I was so in love with her and she never looked more beautiful or angelic as she did at that moment.
