My 40th birthday

To my complete and utter shock, my entire family came up to see me for my 40th birthday. I was coming home from the boot store, tired and beat, another long day of managing the store behind me, and when I walked in I saw a huge crowd of people standing around in my living room. They yelled surprise, and I nearly hit the floor. There were people there from my old home in Mexico, from Los Angeles, and from all over - family I hadn't seen in years, in some cases. Eliza was beaming, because she had put it together without me knowing about it. I thanked her with the biggest kiss ever since our wedding. A perfect birthday, if I say so myself.
