Mom leaves

My mom had enough of us, I guess, because one day she and my dad called us into the living room and had us sit down. My dad was dry-eyed as my mom said she was leaving, and that from now on dad would be taking care of us. She stressed that we would still see her all the time, but that they wouldn't be together anymore. I cried a lot, but my sister just said nothing and left the room and slammed her bedroom door. My mom hugged me, then got her suitcase and left. Turns out we hardly saw her at all after that, so I guess she was just a big liar.
