Meeting The One

I met my future wife when I graduated from high school. She was a lifeguard at the country club where I worked that summer and we really hit it off. I had had a girlfriend at the time, who I had been with for two years already, so we had only become friends. I didn't know how important she would become to me then, I only knew that I loved spending time with her. My girlfriend was jealous from the very beginning, and I suppose with how it turned out, I can't really blame her. She probably saw the connection that we had, but I was pretty oblivious at the time.
