Meeting my wife

It was a Sunday. A friend of mine talked me into going with him to the church where his new girlfriend sang in the choir. That's when I spotted her. She was this thin, pretty girl with big blue eyes and brown hair. And you could tell she loved singing. She immediately stole my heart. She was friends with my friend's new girlfriend. But she already had a boyfriend. I also had a girlfriend, but we weren't getting along. So we broke up.

As soon as I found out that the blue-eyed girl had also broken up, I got up the nerve to ask her out. I was never so nervous about asking a girl out before. She said yes. But in the car, she sat so close to the passenger door I was afraid she was going to fall out. I didn't know if she was afraid of me, or if she was just timid. Obviously, she got over any fear she might have had with me.
