Match Made in Heaven

He was so not me, but there was something that drew me to him. It was almost like a magnetic force that attracted me to him, I felt almost intoxicated when I sat there across the table from him. He was everything that I was not, he wanted the big family and the white picket fence. All I could talk about was my career and what I wanted to do next in my already accomplished young life. He looked at me with a look I had never seen before. It was as if he could see our future and he politely let me talk as he made plans in his head. I somehow knew at that moment that I would end up with him, though he was nothing that I would have envisioned for myself.
