Marrying a mistake

I don't know whether I was in love or just looking for an excuse to get away from home. In either case, I ran off and married the first boy who came along. He was tall, dark and handsome and had a job and big plans for the future. He said he loved me and would always protect me. We drove to a motel and had a great weekend in bed-having lots of sex, talking and laughing, watching TV, and ordering pizza and Chinese food. It was a nice honeymoon considering we were broke.
