Marry Me

I remember when I met her, I was so desperate for a meaningful relationship. Someone who just loved me for me, and would be loyal and caring and available. I really thought that Susan would be that woman. She was such a good listener and seemed to be devoted to me.

When I bent down on my knee on the 11th of November, I had done so with all my faith, hoping to god she would say yes. She stared up at me as I stuttered out my proposal. It took her a moment of hesitation, which worried me, but than I saw the tear waft down her eye right before she said yes.
