Man of the House

It was way cooler than I had envisioned it to be. To have another man in the house to hang out with and toss the ball around with was really more than I could have hoped for. He was truly a family man and he seemed to love hanging around me. We did everything together, the three of us. Him and I hung out all the time, doing the things that a father and son should do together. I finally felt complete, like I fit in. I never thought of him as my stepdad, he was my dad and I was so happy to have him around. I loved how happy he made my mom and he put a smile on my face too which was really nice.
