Love Letter

We had been dating for only a year but he was truly special. I knew that from the moment that I saw him and he showed me everyday just how wonderful he was. He would write me the most beautiful poems, telling me just how deeply he felt for me. Somewhere deep within me I knew that we wouldn't be together forever, but I cherished our time and those beautiful love letters. I held onto them for years and would look back at his beautiful words that jumped out on the paper to me. He was so special and I would think about him for years to come, wishing to have somebody like him again.
