Losing your child in crowded place

My daughter was around 6 years old, and I took her to the beach with a friend of mine.

We were walking through the dunes, and one moment she was right behind me. The next, I turned around and she was gone!

I don't think anything scares a grown woman more than losing a child in a public place.

I was terrified. I started yelling for her, but I knew she couldn't hear me over the sound of the waves. Panic set in, and all I could think of to do was pray in the name of Jesus.

Just was about to call the police and report her missing, my friend saw her across the beach being led back by a man.

I think all the time about what would have happened if the wrong man had found her. She's 15 now, and I still having problems letter her out of my site for just a second.

I'm working on it though :)
