Lemonade Stand

Chase lived two doors down the street, and we had decided to have a lemonade stand to try to make ourselves a little spending money. We scribbled out some signs, deciding to charge 25 cents a glass. I mixed up the first batch myself, and carried it overflowing out to our makeshift table. There we sat all day long in the blazin' sun, drinking our warm lemonade. A few people walked by, but they crossed the street before they got to us. So, we sweated it out, playing hangman on our cardboard box table and telling dirty jokes we'd heard at school. Business wasn't good, but we had a great day!
