I fainted the day Rowan told me she was pregnant. It was just two days after graduation, and we were at a barbeque at my friend Danny's house.

She had been keeping it a secret until she went to the doctor, but I overheard her telling her friend Veronica about it in the kitchen. I was going to go in and talk to her about it, but my head felt funny and then I fell to the floor.
